Tim ORMOND, P.E., M.S.

Tim Ormond is a water resources engineer with more than three decades of experience in watershed restoration, green infrastructure, stormwater management, and water cycle restoration. As President of Blue Earth Engineering, Tim combines engineering, ecological design, and innovative research to develop practical solutions that restore watershed health and strengthen community resilience. His work throughout Western North Carolina includes pioneering green infrastructure research, watershed restoration planning, and projects such as the A-B Tech Wetland Education Park. Tim is also the lead author of the 2026 publication Water Connects Us All: A Community Guidebook for Restoring Mountain Watersheds.

Daniel Ullom, EIT, M.S.

Daniel Ullom is an environmental engineer with experience in sustainable site design, water resources, green infrastructure, and ecological restoration. Since joining Blue Earth in 2019, Daniel has contributed to a wide range of projects through engineering design, modeling, technical research, field work, and CAD. His work includes the Lake Susan restoration and dredging project in Montreat, Terra Futura Eco-Village, and the Light-En Center in Madison County. Daniel holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in environmental engineering from the University of Washington and brings a strong interest in creating more sustainable and resilient communities through his engineering work.
